Hannah Brooks, M.D., PGY3
Originally from Knightstown, IN, and a graduate of I.U. School of Medicine, Hannah is the proud mother of her daughter Violet. “This program has the academic rigor and high patient acuity of a university program, but the supportive feel of a community program. It was very apparent to me that St Vincent values their residents and treats them with respect. The residents support each other and work hard, but their time is spent well – they are always learning and being taught by wonderful staff. I also felt at-home here!” In her free time, Hannah enjoys exploring Indy, reading, listening to music and trying new restaurants.
Tahnie Danastor, M.D., PGY3
“The first thing that struck me about St Vincent was the mission statement “caring for the underserved”. Coming from a third world country, this has always been a passion of mine. Not only can I achieve my goal at St Vincent, but I will do it in a warm and friendly, yet challenging environment. I am confident that I will be the best that I aspire to be!” Tahnie was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and attended the University of Florida for medical school. After hours, Tahnie enjoys dancing, traveling, attending concerts and spending time with her husband, Rody.
Sara Evans, D.O., PGY3
“I knew this was the place for me; the team atmosphere, positive learning environment and familial sense of community was just what I wanted in a residency program! Every day I feel challenged and am growing as a doctor and as a person. I feel honored to be a part of this program and to be involved in delivering high-quality medicine to St Vincent patients.” Sara and her husband Tom relocated to Indy from Louisville, KY and in her free time, she enjoys cooking, yoga and being a mom to son Frank. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, yoga and running. West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine is where Sara received her medical degree.
Kimberley Meinema, M.D., PGY3
Kimberley and her husband Matt enjoy spending time together, running and church activities. Kimberley says “there is a thoughtful balance between upholding the values of a Christian institution, while providing a 100% complete education and the absolute best patient care. There are countless opportunities for learning in this environment where there is teaching, respect and encouragement at every level.” Kimberley received her degree from Indiana University school of Medicine.
Kristin Reeve, M.D., PGY3
Although Kristin didn’t rotate at St Vincent, she was “totally blown away on my interview day by how much I loved it!” A native of Ohio and a grad of The Ohio State, Kristin has found her time thus far to be “a perfect fit; a program with a strong academic caliber”. Serving the underserved populations in the community and the program’s emphasis on continuity of care were/are equally valuable to Kristin.
