Cancer (Oncology)
At the Cancer Center at St.Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital, we approach the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in a holistic way, with care of the body, mind, and spirit. We have assembled the latest technology and services for the detection and treatment of cancer. Cancer is so limited, and we are so much stronger for our fight against it. In 2010, we were ranked in the top five percent of U.S. and Canadian community hospitals for participation in research protocols through the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG).

Expertise
We have been recognized for excellence in cancer care by earning accreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. In 2007, the hospital was one of only a few facilities in the country to begin offering:
- Mammosite targeted radiation treatment and the newest five-day treatment for breast cancer
- SAVI (Strut-Adjusted Volume Implant), a partial radiation treatment for breast cancer
- Contura Multi-Lumen Balloon Catheter, an internal partial radiation treatment for breast cancer
