Our residential treatment serves adolescents (ages 11 to 18 year) with a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties. Many adolescent patients have continuing needs after stabilization in an acute setting. Our structured program utilizes behavior modification as well as insight-oriented therapy, which includes individual, group and family therapy. The program is designed to help the adolescent cope with emotional and behavioral issues. Adolescents work to develop the skills needed to succeed in a less restrictive environment, resolve their problems and grow to be independent, healthy adults. The RTP offers a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment. Health care professionals, such as therapy assistants, nursing staff, recreational therapists, bachelor and masters degree level counselors, work together to develop individual treatment plans, which include individual, group, and family therapies. Most importantly, this structured program utilizes bahavioral modification techniques, in conjunction with insight-oriented approaches.
