Margaret Johnson is president of St. Vincent Northwest Region, inclusive of St. Vincent Kokomo, St. Vincent Frankfort and St. Vincent Williamsport. She is responsible for the region’s strategic leadership, operational oversight and ongoing development.
Mrs. Johnson joined St. Vincent in 1993. She was previously the executive director of Quality, Risk and Medical Affairs at St. Vincent Kokomo. In addition, she has also served as the hospital’s Corporate Responsibility Officer; director, Performance Improvement; director, Medical Affairs; and director, Regulatory Compliance, Corporate and Medical Staff Development.
During her tenure, Mrs. Johnson established the Hospitalist and Anesthesia programs and led a variety of Safety and Patient Experience initiatives. She is a champion for physician development, engagement and recruitment.
Mrs. Johnson is very involved in the Howard County community, having served on United Way and Chamber of Commerce committees, among others. She is a member of the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church and enjoys golf, baking and spending time with her family.
She and her husband, Jerry, reside in Russiaville. They have two children, daughter Katelyn, son Cole and daughter-in-law Morgan.
