Mental Health (Psychiatry)

St.Joseph Trinity House Behavioral Services Department is designed to provide treatment for:

  • Psychiatric, emotional, and chemical abuse or dependence problems
  • Individuals and families, from children to older adults

Getting help for behavioral problems is the first step toward recovery. We offer confidential treatment options available in a variety of settings to meet individual needs. Outpatient and inpatient services are available, with access to emergency crisis services 24 hours a day.

Services:

  • For inpatient, day treatment, IOP, medication management and traditional outpatient therapy:
    Go to the most northeast building of the St.Joseph campus, the first floor. Convenient parking is available in the parking lot off of Berkley Street. Enter the hospital through the MRI Center and Trinity entrance number 2 and once inside, turn right.
  • For outpatient programs: Go to the second and third floors

Trinity House Team

The Trinity House Team is dedicated, caring and multidisciplinary, with qualified, experienced and trained professionals, including:

Psychiatric and Emotional Problems: Adults and Adolescents

Services for psychiatric and emotional problems for adults and adolescents (including depression, anxiety and stress- related issues) include:

  • Inpatient treatment
  • Day treatment (partial hospitalization)
  • IOP (Intensive Outpatient Treatment)
  • Outpatient group
  • Psychiatric evaluation
  • Medication management
  • Psychological testing
  • Neuropsychological evaluations/testing
  • Traditional outpatient visits, including:
    • Individual therapy
    • Couple therapy
    • Marital/relationship therapy
    • Family therapy
    • Play therapy 
  • Electroconvulsive therapy
  • Anger management

Chemical Addiction and Dependence 

Services for chemical addiction and dependence include:

  • Inpatient detoxification from addicting substances such as alcohol
  • Acupuncture for detoxification (on the inpatient unit)
  • Inpatient treatment (after the detoxification process)
  • Day treatment (partial hospitalization)
  • IOP (Intensive Outpatient Treatment) available three times a week
  • Outpatient group
  • Traditional outpatient therapy
  • Continuing care

Renewal Treatment Services

Renewal Treatment Services offer a Christian treatment experience. Services include:

  • Christian-specific programming for inpatient and day treatment
  • Partial hospitalization 
  • Outpatient therapy by appointment
