Cardiac Rehabilitation
Our cardiac rehabilitation program is designed to help patients resume daily activities as soon as possible following discharge from the hospital.
Cardiac rehabilitation is an exercise and lifestyle modification program that teaches health and wellness to people with coronary heart disease. Our rehabilitation program is appropriate for patients who have had:
- Myocardial infarction or bypass surgery in the last twelve months
- Angioplasty or stents
- Valve replacement
Our program includes:
- Education about heart disease and how to reduce future risk
- Supervised and tailored exercise programs
- Support for changing diet, managing weight, stopping smoking, managing stress
- Tools for improving quality of life
