Staff 

All technologists are mammography certified. In order to maintain their credentials, the technologists must perform at least 200 mammograms every two years and complete 15 hours of continuing education every three years. Our radiologists are all certified to specifically read mammography procedures and perform all types of breast biopsies.

We offer a wide variety of services for women's health.

Breast Care

One of the best ways to help you maintain optimum health is through early detection of breast disease. We want to help you establish a lifelong program of breast self-exam and mammograms. Your doctor is the best guide in determining where and how often you should have a mammogram. However, doctors recommend a yearly mammogram after age 40. St.Joseph Hospital also offers biopsies using ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsy for those occasions when further diagnosis is needed.

Bone Density

Osteoporosis, the loss of bone density, affects 23 million men and women in America, 75 percent of whom do not even know they have it. Our center uses DEXA scan, the most advanced way to determine bone mass to diagnose osteoporosis. This simple, painless test detects osteoporosis in its earliest stages. And with treatment, regular exercise and proper diet, you may prevent the disease or lessen its impact.

Wellness Services

Our wellness services include: 

• Massage therapy: A treatment for the body. While none of these benefits can be guaranteed, massage can help you relax, improve circulation, loosen tight muscles and improve flexibility.
• Yoga classes

Health Resource Center

The St.Joseph Hospital Health Resource Center (HRC) is a unique health information center that provides St.Joseph Hospital patients, their families and associates access to health information materials. The HRC is a quiet, interactive library filled with books, journals, magazines, brochures and Internet access to keep you informed of topics that concern women of all ages. The HRC is conveniently located on the main floor of the hospital across from elevators 3 and 4.
