Our Chapel is located on the first floor to the left of the main
registration desk. It is open 24 hours a day. Pr. Doug Givan, Staff Chaplain will hold a Protestant worship service with Lord’s Supper/Communion every first Thursday at 10 a.m. beginning January 2015. To accommodate the schedule demands of a hospital these services will be no longer than 15 minutes.
On the third Wednesday of each month, Chaplain Jeff offers a
Protestant worship and Lord’s Supper celebration. Both are held at
10:30a.m. and are open to all associates, families and visitors.
A Roman Catholic Mass is held every Tuesday, at 9 a.m., by Father John Hollowell, Priest of Annunciation Catholic church, Brazil.
The St.Vincent Clay Pastoral Care Office can be reached at (812)
442-2647. It is located on the second floor of the Old Hospital
building. Pr. Doug Givan is on site Tuesdays and Thursdays. At other times and in case of emergency several local clergy have agreed to be on call on a rotational basis. Simply let your nurse know and he/she will contact the appropriate person should you desire pastoral care. Volunteers and the staff chaplain maintain 24-hour coverage for emergencies.
Staff Chaplain Jeff Seger utilizes area clergy and volunteers to
provide coverage for St.Vincent Clay Hospital. Participation includes
Brazil and the surrounding communities. Jennifer French provides
initial orientation training for the volunteer chaplains. Chaplain Jeff
has instituted individual training and shadowing experiences for current

Doug Givan is available as well as other clergy from the community. Everyone on the staff here at St. Vincent Clay is willing to listen and talk with anyone in need, anytime. Our chapel is available and there is a prayer request book where you may leave a prayer anonymous or otherwise.
