INDIANAPOLIS – Mohamed Heikal, MD, FCCP, board certified pulmonology, critical care and sleep medicine physician, has joined St.Vincent Medical Group in Indianapolis.
Prior to joining St.Vincent Medical Group, he served as an assistant professor of medicine in the pulmonary and critical care medicine division at SUNY/Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Heikal also has experience maintaining a busy practice at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, Tenn., serving as the director of the Sleep Disorders Clinic and the chief of the Pulmonary Medicine division.
He earned his medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, and completed his internal medicine residency at Chicago Medical School. Dr. Heikal accomplished his critical care fellowship at the University of Rochester in New York and his pulmonary medicine fellowship at Southern Illinois University in Springfield.
