Annual Health and Fitness Expo

St. Vincent Jennings Hospital hosts an annual Health and Fitness Expo with more than 400 community members attending the event.  A variety of health education and screenings are provided at the fair, including prostate screening and the recently added Heart Healthy Echocardiogram (Echo) Screening.

Last year, Echoes were provided for almost 100 patients. The result? 

• 14 people were identified as needing immediate care
• An additional 56 people required a clinical correlation study

Health-related vendors and/or social service agencies participated, providing a variety of services including:

• Blood screenings
• Blood pressure checks
• Massages
• Hearing and vision checks
