Senior Renewal Center

This outpatient therapy service is offered by Medicare for seniors, and includes:

Individual Counseling
Group therapy with other seniors
Family Education
Physician Involvement

The goal of treatment is to help seniors gain insight into current life situations and learn effective ways to cope with their own personal issues. Common struggles for seniors include:

• *Difficulty coping with change
• *Adjusting to retirement
• *Grief and loss
• *Loneliness and isolation
• *Constant worry
• *Feelings of burden on others
• *Lack of purpose
• *Family problems

Transportation is provided and seniors also share a meal during the group sessions.

The cost of the Senior Renewal Center services is covered by Medicare and supplemental insurance.
