St.Vincent Women's Hospital is one of 100 Hospitals With Great Women's Health Programs

INDIANAPOLIS – St.Vincent Women's Hospital has been named to the list of "100 Hospitals with Great Women's Health Programs" by Becker's Hospital Review in the nation. Hospitals on the list offer outstanding programs within women's health, including gynecology, obstetrics, and other gender-specific conditions and health needs.

Becker's Hospital Review selected hospitals based on clinical accolades, quality care and women's health proficiencies and awards.

"We are proud to be honored to be one of 100 hospitals in the nation for great women's care," said Anne Coleman, administrator for St.Vincent Women's Hospital. "We make every effort to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care through every stage of life."

St.Vincent Women's Hospital is Indiana's only dedicated women's hospital providing the most comprehensive women's health services encompassing 48 private rooms, 26-bed High-Risk Obstetrics Unit and a 75-bed Level III C newborn intensive care unit (NICU). The faith-based hospital also has the largest group of maternal-fetal medicine physicians in Indiana. This year, U.S. News & World Report ranked St.Vincent first in Indiana for gynecology services, and also this year, St.Vincent Women's Hospital received the Women's Health Excellence Award from Healthgrades.

The highly-trained surgeons at St.Vincent Women's Hospital operate in three surgical suites that are equipped with the latest technology and minimally-invasive equipment. Surgical specialties include: neonatal surgical interventions; minimally invasive surgery addresses a wide range of gynecological conditions; urological/gynecological surgery; non-obstetrical procedures for obstetric patients and breast surgery with reconstruction.

The Center for Women's Health is also available for women at St.Vincent Women's Hospital. The center offers comprehensive healthcare services designed to empower women to be productive about their health.  From routine gynecology and maternity services, to menopausal care and breast health, the Center for Women's Health is committed to providing women with spiritually-centered, holistic care.
