What is Monogram Maternity?
Monogram Maternity at St.Vincent Women's Hospital is a unique, personalized approach to childbirth and was developed with your needs in mind. When you create a Monogram Maternity account, you will begin to receive weekly e-mail updates and health information personalized to your week of pregnancy. We also offer a variety of pregnancy-related information, and a listing of our childbirth education classes on our Web site.
Throughout your pregnancy, a Nurse Navigator is available to answer your questions, and address your concerns by phone or e-mail. Call or e-mail to schedule an appointment with a Nurse Navigator around your 36th week of pregnancy to discuss your labor support options, create a birth care plan, learn about our Integrative Therapy offerings, sample our aromatherapy oils, and much more.
Your Big Day and Beyond
When your baby is ready to enter the world, Monogram Maternity will be ready for you. You and your physician will have discussed which form of birth is right for you, and you’ll have a full choice of pain management options. After you return home, our Breastfeeding Support Group and Lactation Consultations will help you take care of your newborn — and yourself. At Monogram Maternity, we think of everything, so you can focus on the most important thing — your new baby.
Specialists and Experts During Delivery
Most women give birth to their babies without complications. However, it’s reassuring to know that at St.Vincent Women's Hospital, we’re prepared for anything that might arise. Our high-risk obstetrical staff specializes in helping expectant moms with various health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, or the birth of multiple infants and is specially trained in high-risk births. In fact, our High-Risk Obstetrical Unit (HRU) achieved its disease-specific care certification in high-risk obstetrics by The Joint Commission - only the second in the U.S. to achieve such designation. You can also be assured that if complications do arise, your baby will be cared for by the experienced staff in our Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – the largest designated Level III (the highest level of care) NICU in Indiana.
Support After Your Journey Home
Throughout your journey we offer a variety of print and online resources including videos, articles, brochures and more. We are always available to help answer your questions, offer support or provide peace of mind. We encourage you to take advantage of these resources during your stay and after you leave us.
After you return home, our Breastfeeding Support Group and Lactation Consultants will help you take care of your newborn and yourself. At Monogram Maternity, we think of everything, so you can focus on the most important thing - your new baby.
