When traditional childbirth education classes are not a possibility due to bed rest, scheduling conflicts or time constraints we have a solution. Welcome to e-Learning…an interactive, web-based program that includes animated illustrations, videos and interactive learning. This program offers information on the last trimester of pregnancy, labor & birth, medication choices and cesarean birth. When you register, you will receive an online code that will be valid for 30 days. You will also receive a workbook via postal mail and have access to a childbirth educator for any questions that may arise. It is recommended that you also attend a FREE one-time live session at St.Vincent Women's Indianapolis which includes information on labor support, birth videos and time to have all of your questions answered. If you've already registered…

Thank you for registering for Childbirth Preparation: eLearning! A few reminders before you begin...

  1. If you have not yet registered for your eLearning LIVE classroom session, please do so as soon as possible by calling 338-4-HER.
  2. You will probably have questions as you work through this program. Therefore, a special email address has been setup allowing you to correspond directly with a childbirth educator. Please send any questions/concerns to cbirthed@stvincent.org.
  3. Although this program includes some information on breastfeeding and newborn care, you are encouraged to take Breastfeeding Basics and Newborn Care (both one-time classes). You can register for these and other classes at womens.stvincent.org or by calling the CARELine at (317) 338-CARE (2273).
  4. You will also want to attend a Maternity Preview Tour specific to the location of your baby's birth. Specific tour information is given to you during your eLearning course, by visiting womens.stvincent.org or by calling the CARELine.
  5. You should have received your keycode via postal mail, along with your Gift of Motherhood workbook. If you have misplaced your keycode, you may call the office at 338-4-HER and we can look it up for you. Reminder that your keycode will be valid for 60 days once you log in the first time.
