Environmental conditions in which the student will train are as follows:
In order to maintain a safe learning and training environment, enrollment into and graduation from the Radiography Program is contingent on the accepted candidate demonstrating that he/she is of reasonably good health and physically able to train in the profession. Therefore accepted students must meet the pre-enrollment health requirements below. Applicants are not screened according to these criteria before or during the selection process.
Students are strongly recommended to carry their own personal health insurance. Any expense that occurs from assessment or treatment not specifically covered under associate health services or Worker’s Compensation benefits as a result of a training-related exposure to communicable disease or injury will be at the student’s own expense. The program will not be liable for any general illness that occurs to a student as a result of clinical training.
