Dr. Cation joined the St Vincent Internal Medicine Faculty in 2005. He is a General Internist who serves as a Clinician Educator in both the inpatient and outpatient arenas at St. Vincent Hospital. In addition to patient care, teaching and residency program administration, he is very interested and active in medical education research and has published several articles on the topic. Dr. Cation is also Coordinator for the St. Vincent Hospital Faculty Development Program.

Dr. Fick joined St. Vincent in August 2009. She is a General Internist whose clinical responsibilities include teaching on the inpatient teaching services and staffing resident continuity clinic. Her professional interests include balancing autonomy and supervision in residency training, using technology in teaching, and mentoring residents.

Dr. Knaus is the director of the program's continuity clinic. His major clinical interest is in promoting high quality ambulatory internal medicine training in the residency program. He has a special interest in diagnosis and management of Clostridium difficile infection and leads a related quality improvement initiative within the program.

Robert Love, MD, FACP

Dr. Love spent 4 years as a General Internist in central Ohio before returning to St. Vincent Hospital to serve as Associate Program Director with involvement in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to his love for teaching, Dr. Love has a special interest in medical care for the underserved. Prior to medical school, he spent three years as Pharmacy Director at Hospital Albert Schweitzer in Deschapelles, Haiti and has made several trips to Haiti since joining the St. Vincent faculty.

Dr. Martin joined St Vincent 2012 as clinical faculty after practicing 5 years of general internal medicine Georgetown, Ky. He is now the director of the inpatient teaching services at St Vincent. He enjoys blending academic medicine and business as well as working with transitions of care.
